I am a Bicolano by birth and choice. By any standards, I am a slow runner but I like it that way. I look at running as a healthy and exciting way to make a difference. Together with my fellow runners from our family, school, office, and the community, we use running to give back.
Back in the late 70s , every time
our family would drive to Manila from our home province of Camarines Sur, I
would dread the zig-zag road of the
Quezon National Park.
Our high school running buddy, Ernie Badong, chalked up an impressive performance at the 2014 edition of the
Bataan Death March 102km Ultra held last March 2.
83nean runners Ernie and Fards
were seen recently sporting some new
footwear at their regular training haunt, the acacia-lined asphalt
roads of Camp Aguinaldo.
