BOSTON STRONG NAGA: Humabol

A day after our April 22 Boston Strong Muntinlupa run in Filinvest City, Alabang, I was informed by my fellow 83nean  Ric Lozano that a trio of his running buddies (Joji Asis, Lito Atento and Gary Castillo) and he went on a run to show their support for the Boston Marathon.

1. The Claiming of Packets two days before the actual run of April 21, 2013 was hassle-free with a festive atmosphere. Plus  Zoot and 2XU were selling items at discounted price. This was a case of good “foreplay.”

At almost the same time this morning  that CNN broke the news that Bombing Suspect No. 2 was captured alive in Watertown, a suburb of Boston, my favorite shirt printer Eric Monfero handed me a dozen gray cotton shirts with the Boston Strong ribbon stamped on the front.

This afternoon, I was on the internet searching for a suitable symbol of the Boston Marathon that I could print on a  shirt which I can use in a half marathon I am running this coming Sunday, April 21. I am touched by what happened on that fateful day of 04.15.13.
