My photo
I am a Bicolano by birth and choice. By any standards, I am a slow runner but I like it that way. I look at running as a healthy and exciting way to make a difference. Together with my fellow runners from our family, school, office, and the community, we use running to give back.

A LOGO FOR THE BICOLANO PENGUIN

Thanks to my son, Marcel, the Bicolano Penguin has a logo now.
Bicolano Penguin logo

One night, I asked him to draw a penguin with an “I love Bicol” at the front.  In less than 5 minutes of working on his laptop , he showed me his draft and I asked him to put my Asics running shoes on it.  My First Balfour officemate, Dolly, did the finishing touches. Voila, we have the logo.

The  first shirt to carry this logo is my Bataan Death March “survivor” shirt which uses a blue New Balance running shirt as the platform.  The husband of another  officemate took care of having the logo printed on the shirt.

Looking forward to more of my running shirts carrying this logo.

I like it.  Sweet. Thanks, Marcel.
