- I am a Bicolano by birth and choice. By any standards, I am a slow runner but I like it that way. I look at running as a healthy and exciting way to make a difference. Together with my fellow runners from our family, school, office, and the community, we use running to give back.
2012 BATAAN DEATH MARCH 102-KM ULTRAMARATHON: WE ARE SURVIVORS
To say that runners “finished” the BDM 102-km ultra is an understatement.
BDM 102-KM ULTRA : LET’S GET IT ON
The night and day of reckoning is finally upon us this March 3-4, 2012 weekend. Come 9pm this March 3 at the Km 0 marker in Mariveles, Bataan, 191 runners will assemble for the start of the Bataan Death March 102-km ultramarathon. Gun start is 10:15pm sharp.
DZMM Takbo Para sa Karunungan : March 11, 2012
One of the older fun runs in the country is the one sponsored by radio station DZMM . This year’s edition is called DZMM Takbo Para Sa Karunungan scheduled on March 11, 2012 (6am) at the Quirino Grandstand.
2012 BDM 52-KM TEST RUN : MY BOOTLEG VERSION
Last February 11, 2012, the Bald Runner conducted the 2nd test run for the 2012 Bataan Death March 102-km ultramarathon. Forty-six runners participated in this 2nd test run which started at the Km 50 marker in Abucay, Bataan and ended at the Km 102 marker in San Fernando, Pampanga. Unfortunately, I was not able to join this 52-km test run as I was in Bicol on that weekend.
