- I am a Bicolano by birth and choice. By any standards, I am a slow runner but I like it that way. I look at running as a healthy and exciting way to make a difference. Together with my fellow runners from our family, school, office, and the community, we use running to give back.

BAREFOOT RUNNING @ THE BEACH (PICO DE LORO)
"Take an hour a day to chill out and

RUNNER’S WORLD: Boston Bombings Special Issue
"If you’re trying to defeat the human spirit, marathon
runners are the wrong group to target."
These words, from Don Kern (a Michigan race
director) which David Willey (Editor-in-Chief) quoted in the Editor’s
Letter, are ingrained in my mind as I read thru the July
2013 edition of the RUNNER’S WORLD.
