A package from Singapore arrived in the office one Friday morning.Eagerly, I opened it and out came a box with the familiar and always welcome Altra logo. I muttered to myself - "the Black Beauty is here."
True enough, the box contained a pair of brand new Black Altra Paradigm running shoes.
Google it and a lot of sites would say that the color black is associated with power, fear, mystery, strength, authority, elegance, formality, death, and sophistication. Black affects the mind and body by helping to create an inconspicuous feeling, boosting confidence in appearance, increasing the sense of potential and possibility, or producing feelins of emptiness, gloom, or sadness.
Will use the black Paradigm for my running of the Condura Marathon this coming weekend. There will be a feeling of sadness. Hopefully, there will be a surge of a feeling of empowerment as well.
Black is indeed a mysterious color. The Bicolano Penguin feels a lot of potential with the Black Paradigm.
