TBR DREAM TEAM RUN: November 17, 2012

A couple weeks ago, I received an email invite from Jaymie Pizzaro to all TBR Dream Marathon alumni about a TBR Dream Team Run scheduled for November 17, 2012 at Nuvali.  

Would I be interested to join?  The answer is YES.

The Bull Runner Dream Marathon is my very first marathon.  It was in May 2010 that I conquered my first full mary and my running life has since then changed for the better.  That is why, every chance  I get, I make sure to participate in any form in the local version of the annual running of the bulls.

In March 2012, I volunteered as a pacer to three of my First Balfour officemates who bravely took on the challenge of finishing the TBR Dream Marathon.  Now,  two of these 3 are also gung ho to join the TBR Dream Team Run. Thus, we formed two teams to join the November 17 event:

First Balfour Team A:

1) Maricar Hombrebueno

2) Marirose Dalawampu

3) May Delsie Giray

First Balfour Team B:

1) Vicente De Lima

2) Eselito Ruiz

3) Iya Nicole Gosalves Pe

All except 1 are  employees of First Balfour.

The rules of the TBR Dream Team Run are as follow:

1. TEAM OF 3. Runners must register as a team of three.  At least one of the three runners must be a TBR Dream Marathon Alumni* or TBR Dream Marathon 2013 Registered Participant.

* A TBR Dream Marathon Alumni is a confirmed registrant of the TBR Dream Marathon 2010, 2011, or 2012 regardless of him/her appearing or finishing the race. 

2.TEAM UNIFORMS.  All runners are encouraged to come in Team Uniforms or costumes.  Be creative!  There's a prize for Best in Costume!

3. FINISHERS' SHIRTS & MEDALS. Finishers will be awarded Finishers' Shirts and Finishers' Medals upon crossing the finish line.

4. FINISH LINE. Team must start together and finish together.  This is NOT a relay.  A team that does not cross the finish line together will be disqualified.

5. WINNERS. There will be prizes for the Top 3 Finishing Teams and Best in Costume. Only registered team who finished at the same time are qualified to place in the Top 3.

We have registered already. We are all excited to run on the Dream Team Run and we have even  started to craft our team uniform.  Here is a preliminary design.
