BOSTON STRONG MUNTINLUPA : A Dozen Gray Shirts

At almost the same time this morning  that CNN broke the news that Bombing Suspect No. 2 was captured alive in Watertown, a suburb of Boston, my favorite shirt printer Eric Monfero handed me a dozen gray cotton shirts with the Boston Strong ribbon stamped on the front.

In addition to Eric, I would like to thank his wife Alice and my corp  comm colleague Dolly for making the shirts happen at such a short time.

The weekend before April 22 was starting out fine. We now have shirts to wear when we make the 1-hour run this Monday. We hope to look good in them. Good while supply lasts (first come, first given).

In addition, I visited the blog that started this all (http://pavementrunner.com/boston-strong-city/) and I saw our Boston Strong Muntinlupa in the list.  No. 79 actually in the list of cities in the US and around the world with a Boston Strong run being organized. The cities now number 94 and growing.

Now, if we can only increase the number of runners for Boston Strong Muntinlupa to make it more fun.

Hope springs eternal in this show of strength.

Hi Running Diva. Thanks for the feedback. We had the small group run this morning at Filinvest City. For you, I have a shirt left. Let me know via email (vmdelima@firstbalfour.com) how I can send it to you.
