I am a Bicolano by birth and choice. By any standards, I am a slow runner but I like it that way. I look at running as a healthy and exciting way to make a difference. Together with my fellow runners from our family, school, office, and the community, we use running to give back.

ARC SHIRTS: 4 Colors & Counting

EmoticonOne of the  running blogs  I love to follow is that of the Bald Runner.

It never fails to be a source of info and wisdom about running, particularly of the long distance variety. BR’s  blog entries about running shoes and gear are like a bible to many like me. And his writing style and photos,   I hope to emulate.

One such item that I have the chance to mirror is the one he posted last Jan 18 (http://baldrunner.com/2014/01/18/pictures-of-the-week-22-colors-of-arc/). It is about his collection of A Runners Circle running singlets. The Bald Runner  has 3 colors of them.

Well, the Bicolano Penguin has 4 colors of ARC running shirts.

It is a source of pride and joy for me to have a growing number of ARC shirts.  It is a way to show solidarity with this running store that is stationed at the corner of Quirino Avenue and Roxas Blvd in downtown Manila.  It continually introduces new running gear to the local running community. One such case is that the  store provided  my  first Hoka.   ARC Manila (http://arunnerscircle.com.ph/)  is my favorite running store.

With that said, BP is gunning for the 5th.  Thinking yellow.Emoticon
