I am a Bicolano by birth and choice. By any standards, I am a slow runner but I like it that way. I look at running as a healthy and exciting way to make a difference. Together with my fellow runners from our family, school, office, and the community, we use running to give back.

PRO EARTH RUN 2014 : We Are Joining!

Emoticon“P” for protect. “R” for respect.  “O” for oversee. Sounds catchy.

It is for environmental awareness and advocacy. We need to do our part. Thus,  we are joining the PRO EARTH RUN scheduled for April 12 at BGC in Taguig. We even put up a sign sheet in our company’s bulletin board and in 2 days time, we had more than 30 First Balfour employee-runners registering already. Yup. Thirty-one and counting. We encourage many more to join.

For more details  on this fun run, please take note of the announcement below: Emoticon

Nice to meet you, Bicolano Penguin!

Thank you for dropping by my blog, "Happy Feet in the Netherlands" ; it is how I find my way to your blog.

We share the same running philosophy and passion. What we also share is my being Bicolano...well by association, my grandmother was born, raised in Bicol. :)

I have to ask my mom again, who is now residing in Canada if "Nanay Insing" as we fondly called my grandmother, was bron in Daet or Naga.

Do you have an FB page or Twitter channel I can follow?

All the best to your endeavours!

Hi Joanna,

Thank you for the visit to my running blog. I have another one, which is on non-running items (www.bicolanopenguinswonderlog.wordpress.com). The Happy Feet in Netherlands has Bicol roots. The world is getting smaller and life is getting better. Have no FB or Twitter accounts. I have my email address (leonventura1966@gmail.com).
Have a great day.
