I guess one good thing about having a sports hobby that your loved ones and friends know about is that they have a fairly good idea what to give you. Such was the case recently when the Bicolano Penguin was the happy recipient of good looking running shirts from two good looking ladies.
Early this March, I had breakfast in Tagaytay with Gina, a grade school batchmate, who is on a much-needed vacation from Osaka, Japan. Part of the pasalubongs she brought me were a couple of Mizuno running shirts with QuickDry technology . They looked good in their dark colors.

Early this April, while on vacation in Bicol, I was handed a Reebok compression long sleeve shirt. It was a padala from my Maryland-based cousin Carmela. It looked good with its urban camouflage color scheme.

The past couple days, while feeling a bit down for not being able to run in the 2015 Mayon 360, the Bicolano Penguin took the time to go back on the concrete road and gobble up a handful of kilometers wearing them shirts. They all felt good on the run. Love the smell too.
Life is good, especially with friends and relatives supportive of my running passion. Thank you very much Gina and Carmela. Dios mabalos.
